Albatros Seafood Company was established in 1994 by its owner Mr. Jorgen O.Nielsen with headquarters in Aalborg, Denmark. Mr. Magni Dalsgaard, Denmark Sales and Marketing Director, in conjunction with the experienced team is responsible for the sales and marketing activities of Albatross Seafood. Over the years, the Company has achieved a lot, it has grown from a seafood exporter selling products to CIS countries into one of the top producers of seafood in the Russian market, opened a Moscow subsidiary known as "Albatros Seafood Production" with own production facilities, warehouses and trading network. We have totally transferred our shrimp packaging business, crab sticks production and partially delicacies packaging to Russia.

Production in Russia

"Albatros Seafood Production" Ltd. Company is located 2 kilometers from Moscow on Kashirskoye Highway. Established in October 2001, the Company is set to be a significant force in the Russian market. The facilities contain surimi production line, lines for freezing and packing of frozen raw and cooked sea products, in particular shell on prawns, peeled shrimps, mussel meat, baby squid, sea scallops, cuttlefish, octopus, sea cocktail, etc. Both lines are fitted with the latest and most updated equipment.

The production process is subject to strict controls by experienced specialists headed by Directors Mr. A.V. Nagaitsev and Jens Jorgen Andreasen. The Company's Technological Department is responsible for the maintenance of high competitive quality of manufactured products and constant monitoring of its chemical and microbiological safety. Our engineers and technical personnel provide for the efficient operation of equipment. The Company's specialists attended special training programs at surimi production plants in China.

The Company constantly expands the range of products to meet the growing needs of its customers and in view of the latest technological innovations. "Albatros Seafood Production" offers to Russian consumers a wide range of sea delicacies, cooked and frozen shrimps, crab sticks and crab meat, seafood with sauces, salmon, trout.

Minced fish and food additives involved in our production are subject to conformity certification and testing by the Company's laboratory. All these procedures guarantee the microbiological safety of manufactured products.

Sales System

Albatross places its products on the Russian market and CIS countries markets through the Moscow office of the Company.

Over the years, we have managed to work out a distribution system and Albatros brand has become one of the most popular and recognizable brand with Russian consumers of seafood products. The sales territory served by the Company's distributors includes all Russian regions with distribution centers in the largest cities (Ekaterinbourg, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, Voronezh, Rostov, Krasnodar, etc.).

Our products are available either from Moscow storage facilities or from our regional representatives. An experienced management team will be happy to answer your questions, provide you with information about Company's policy and will be of help when you come to make an order.
